Privacy Policy
TinkScreen is a tool for making App Store and Google Play screenshots. This policy explains what information TinkScreen handles when you use it, why, and the choices you have. In short: we keep only what's needed to give you an account and save your projects, we don't use analytics or ads, and we never sell your data.
Using TinkScreen without an account
You can use TinkScreen without signing in. Your projects and the screenshots you add are then stored only in your own browser, on your device. They are not sent to us.
Information we collect when you have an account
- Account details. If you sign up with email, your email address, the name you enter (optional), and your password — stored only as a secure one-way hash, never in plain text.
- Sign in with Google. If you choose "Continue with Google", Google shares your name, email address, profile picture and a Google account identifier with TinkScreen. We use them only to create your account, sign you in and show your name and picture in the app.
- Your projects. The projects you save — slide designs, text, and the screenshots and images you upload — so you can open them again on any computer.
- A session cookie. A single cookie that keeps you signed in. It's needed for the service to work and isn't used for tracking or advertising.
- Basic technical data. Like any website, the server receives your IP address and browser details with each request; they're used only to run and protect the service (for example, to limit repeated failed sign-in attempts).
How we use it
Only to provide TinkScreen to you: signing you in, saving and loading your projects, keeping your account secure, and answering you if you contact us. We don't use your information for advertising, profiling or analytics, and we don't use your screenshots or projects for anything other than showing them back to you.
Information from Google
TinkScreen's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We don't transfer this information to others, and we don't use it for advertising.
Sharing
We don't sell, rent or trade your information. It is shared only with the hosting provider that stores TinkScreen's data on our behalf, or when required by law.
To show the app, your browser loads a few resources directly from third parties: fonts from Google Fonts, a 3D graphics library from jsDelivr, and — only when you open the sign-in screen — Google's sign-in button. Those providers receive your IP address as part of delivering these files, under their own privacy policies.
Storage, security and retention
Account and project data is stored in TinkScreen's database. Passwords are hashed, sessions use random tokens, each account can access only its own projects and images, and data travels over encrypted connections when the service is used online. We keep your information for as long as you have an account. Deleting a project in the app removes it and, shortly after, any images only it used.
Your choices
- Rename, export or delete any project in the app at any time.
- Ask for a copy of your data, or for your account and everything in it to be deleted, by emailing us. We'll do so within 30 days.
- If you signed in with Google, you can also remove TinkScreen's access at myaccount.google.com/connections.
Children
TinkScreen isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. Significant changes will be announced in the app.
